Hello! I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a desert town in the southwestern United States. Santa Fe was established in 1610 by the Spanish, and New Mexico itself didn't become a state until 1912. Before the Spanish arrived, this area was already settled by a number of native tribes, whose ancestors still live in this area today.

At the moment I am learning how to swim and dance salsa. Swimming is getting easier, but salsa is hard. I also spend a lot of time exploring the surrounding mountains and deserts with my dog Luna, a black lab mix with large pointy ears and a spotted tongue. I like to think she is half coyote.
