I am a Texan living and working in rural Japan as an English teacher. I have been writing letters and postcards to my friends for a while and have always loved getting things in the mail. I have a special love of nice stationary and fountain pens/inks.

I love: Opera/Classical Music, Museums, Vintage, Art Deco, Baking, Literature, Words, Languages, Poetry, geeky things (technology, science fiction, webcomics, board games), dancing (I've done Italian folk dancing, ballroom dancing, and am currently studying hula), and culture/history. I have since childhood especially loved anything to do with Ancient Egypt.
