About Sneha...

My name's Sneha. I live in Bangalore, a city in south India.

I'm really excited to be a part of Postcrossing even though I've only sent a few cards so far! I just love this concept so I'm looking forward to doing a lot of swaps!

A little note to anyone sending me a postcard:

> I prefer to receive postcards WITHOUT an envelope!

> I would really appreciate it if you could add the DATE on the back of the postcard before you send it.

> I like to receive postcards that are handwritten. Perhaps you could describe the picture it shows, and maybe also write about its significance in your country.

> Oh, and it would be great to see something written in your native language! For instance, you can add a quote that inspires you or a famous proverb from your country (But please include an English translation as well, thanks!).

My postcard preferences:

*****Multi-view cards are welcome!*****

> Nature, landscapes, the countryside
> Beautiful sceneries
> Cityscapes
> Night views
> Monuments and architecture
> UNESCO World Heritage Sites
> Anything related to your culture and traditions - for example, festival and holiday cards.

If you're unsure of what to send, you could go through my "Favourites" list (http://www.postcrossing.com/user/snickas/gallery/favourites) to see the kinds of postcards I like.

Random Facts about me:

~ I pay attention to every stamp that's on the card. Any colourful and interesting stamp would make my day.

~ Letter writing is my latest hobby. I have been pen-palling with friends from around the world for more than about four years now. There's no greater joy than to receive nice and long handwritten letters in the mailbox every now and then. Long live snail-mail!

~ I love to explore new cultures from other countries of the world as much as I love to tell people about the diverse cultures of my homeland, India.

Also! To anyone out there in Finland: I'm a big fan of your country! So if you're Finnish, I'd LOVE to receive anything that has to do with the Northern Lights, and/or the character Moomin. :D
