I'm 37 years old biologist/pharmacist living in Helsinki with my husband, two little kids and turkish angora cat. I also have an Amazon themed aquarium.

My hobbies are classical ballet, nature, cats and Dungeons and Dragons role-playing games. I also like to play video games (mainly Wii) when I have the chance. If you have any hobbies or pets in common, it would be nice to hear! But I´m happy with any kind of text - I like to read the texts as much as I enjoy the beautiful cards! And if you could write the DATE on the card, I would be grateful. With or without envelope is ok, although if it is no extra trouble for you, envelope is nice since it prevents damage to the cards.

I love ALL types of cards, but I'm especially fond of postcards with:

-marine/aquatic themes and animals
-Whales and sharks
-cats, owls, toucans, frogs, reptiles, rabbits and big cats
-gardens, sakura
-Alice in Wonderland
-Wachifield/Dayan cat
-Cards from: Correspondences, Aquarupella, Inkognito, Nicoletta Ceccoli, Edition Gollong...
-nature and animals (especially your local ones)
-dinosaurs and other extinct animals
-fantasy, scifi and "geeky" stuff :) I love e.g. Star Trek, Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings! Dragons are cool too...
-Totoro and other Studio Ghibli
-Hello Kitty
-classical ballet
-retro themes, including vintage travel posters, pin-ups and so on
-royal families
-lighthouses
-hot-air balloons and zeppelines
-trams
-unusual shape (for example gotochi) or size is also always exciting!

MY CHALLENGE FOR YEAR 2018: Tropical! Any card with a tropical picture (beach, surfing, palm trees, flamingos...) would make me *really, really* happy :D

-UGLY postcards. Yes - feel free to send me the most ugly postcard you have, the uglier the better! By ugly I mainly mean cards with ugly/crappy picture on them, but any type of ugly is fine! I have a humoristic project to find the most ugly postcard on this planet. If you decide to send me an ugly card, it would also be nice if you could write why you think that card is so hideous, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes I might not see the same ugly as you!
