I grew up in Denver, Colorado. I am a 45 year veteran of the aviation safety industry. I have been to each of the 50 United States by air, or by sea. I enjoy traveling to Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, South America and Mexico. I collect pre-deregulation airline memorabilia, postcards and tea towles from my travels. I enjoy cooking foods from the different countries that I've visited. My favorite festival is the balloon fiesta held in October in Albuquerque, New Mexico. i enjoy knitting, crochet, crafting, reading, listening to jazz, attending live theatre and movies - especially in New York or London. I enjoy cultural events, farmer's markets, museums and hiking in the national parks. I have a ten year old Hungarian Puli and we enjoy going to dog parks and walking 4 miles every day.
Update: December I moved from VA to Colorado in 2018 to act as caregivers for my parents. I retired on July 29, 2022 and I'm currently a volunteer at Wings over the Rockies (Air and Space) Museum in Denver.
