I live in North Dakota, USA. I live about 2 hours south of the border with Canada so it gets pretty cold (-40F/C) in the winter.

I am a social studies teacher. History is my specialty and I could go on forever about it. I teach a class called World Cultures to 11 and 12-year-olds. If you can't think of something to write, what is something you wish people know about your country? I will share the card and information with them!

I have two beautiful little cats that I resecured off the street. I often refer to them as my little fur babies.

Postcrossing always makes my trips to the mailbox more interesting. It's a nice break from junk mail and bills. I love anything I get and I love reading the messages sent with the card!

I store my postcards in photo albums and would greatly appreciate cards no larger than 10x15CM (4x6 IN). Cards larger than that are harder for me to display. Thank you!

If you are interested in a direct swap for a specific card, let me know the ID number. Most cards I can get another copy of within about a week depending on when I can get to the store. If I can't get the same one, I will look for something similar.
