I'm a teacher, music lover, reader, traveler, tea drinker, political nerd and postcrosser.
I like stories. Your story. A historical introduction to the place shown on the card. A "this happened to me yesterday-story". Your favorite story. The book you read and felt like re-reading immediately. The song you heard and wanted the world to know about. Something you recently learnt. Some random facts about you. Some untranslatable words of your language (and their meaning). You get the picture.. No matter what you write, I hope you will write something more than "happy postcrossing" on the card, and that you do not leave it blanc.
I will be happy for all cards I receive. My favorites are photos showing something characteristic of your city/country. I especially love cards of..
★statues of national heroes =>I'd appreciate a small comment of whom this national hero was and why his/her work is recognized as heroic
★Postallove's Greetings from-series (I have AM, AU, AT, AX, AZ, CH, CN, CR, CZ, DK, FI (2015 & 2017), FO, FR, GR, HK, ID, IN, IT, JP, KR, LT, LV, NL, MY, MX, PK, PL (2015 & 2018), RU, SG, SK, SE, TW, TH, US)
★Unofficial Greetings from-cards
★Postcardmarket's Flags of the World-series (I have CA, CN, EU, FO, DE, JP, KR, MY, SL, TH)

★(people in) national costumes
★religious buildings or monuments
★motifs from religious festivals =>please explain what it is about and what's going on
★houses of heads of states
★recipes (preferably with text in English or a Scandiavian language)
★Inge Löök's wonderful universe
★Larkin Poe, (the Dutch band) Racoon, Josh Groban, or Kaizers Orchestra
★Downton Abbey, The BigBang Theory, Suits or Skam (OG and Austin)
★Harry Potter, the Raven Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia
★Albanians (I wrote my master thesis on Albanian (religious) self-understanding, and my love for national heroes started with Skanderbeg..)
These following places have an agreement of special relations with the city I grew up in or the municipality where I now live, and I think it would be cool to have cards from all of them one day.
Sweden: Trollhättan & Älmhult
Denmark: Hjørring & Allerød
Finland: Kerava & Läppträsk/Lapinjärvi
England: Letchworth & Alnwick District
Namibia: Walvis Bay
Palestinian areas: Hebron
My father collects stamps (especially of boats), so if you want to help me make him happy, you put your card in an envelope. :)
If you are participating in a Postcrossing meeting, could you please write a few lines before you get signatures/stamps of others? (I’m a bit more interested your words than I am in 50 signatures..)
If I have not registred your card, it is because it has not (yet) landed in my mailbox.
My favourite untranslatable word from Norwegian: døgn (any 24 hour period)
