I'm 72 since April 15th. I'm living in Belgium, in Zonhoven, near Hasselt, in the province of Limburg, with my husband Michel. I have one daughter Ellen, she's 45, I have no grandchildren. We have two pets: Fleur and Felix (4 years old).
I'm retired since July 1st 2014. I have a lot of time now for my hobbys: I make mosaics with glas, tiles, marble,.... Look at the avatar: I made this mosaic in Greece, were I did a course "mosaic with marble", and the bird you can see is a Bittern, bird we can see sometimes near or in one of the 1,000 ponds in our neighbourhood. I make cards with Diamond Painting too.
I like travelling too. I have a Japanese friend living in Edogawa, near Tokyo. We are penpals for more then 58 years. I visited her in 2007 and she was in Belgium a few years ago. In May 2015 I visited her and her husband to celebrate our 50 years of friendship, and we had such a good time!
I like to receive all kind of cards: dogs, cats, Hello Kitty cards, cards of Wild Animals, Unesco cards, art, trains, music and musical instruments, , ... I also like Blue Cat cards, Molly Brett, Milla Marquis, Inge Löök and Edition Tausendschön, but other cards are o.k. too! Also cards from year of Rabbit (Chinese horoscope).
And when it's X'mas time: I like to receive X'mas cards. And in April you can write me a Birthday card. While I'm a Japan lover, I love Gotochi cards a lot and also Taiwan, Gotochi-style cards. If you send me that kind of card, I will send you some Belgian cards or something you would like to receive from Belgium.
My favourite stamps: stamps of fauna and flora (if you have them: dogstamps, catstamps, stamps from Chinese horoscope, this year: year of the rabbit), trainstamps, art, Japanese stamps, EUROPA stamps, vehicle stamps, sports and Olympic games and stamps about music and musical instruments. I want to swap stamps too if you are interested.
