December, 2016. I received a beautiful thank you card from Veronika in Russia. I can't find your user name to thank you. PLEASE send me a message!
Greetings from Texas, USA!
I'm a recently retired elementary school teacher. I've just moved from Colorado to Texas, to spend my time with the light of the universe (my four delightful grandchildren). I share all of my postcards with them. I'm also a bird watcher, reader, cross-stitcher, and gardener.
We only have a few requests:
-please send something that shows us what your area is like OR shows traditions of your culture;
-if you have postcards of the birds of your area I would be thrilled!;
-we prefer postcards without envelopes and always examine the stamps, too;
We have already 'met' many kind, caring, and thoughtful Postcrossers and have loved our experience. We treasure your thoughts and contributions to our learning about the world. We are learning that Postcrossers are a special and unique part of the citizens of the world!
P.S. I tend to be disorganized. If you sent a postcard or swap and it is not registered or acknowledged in a timely manner, please send a gentle reminder!
