About Debra...
Mother. Grandmother. I live with my toy poodle, in Norwich, a Medieval city in Norfolk, England. I grew up in San Francisco and came to England to study Circle Folk Dance on a one way ticket. I'm still here!
I live in the centre of Norwich; its is surprisingly quiet. Looking out my window I have a beautiful view of a medieval flint church and two very mature English Lime trees in the churchyard. The church is a venue for art exhibitions. I love the sense of history encountered just walking through the city. I suppose I still feel like a tourist here in England. I love buying postcards but don't send as many as I buy so Postcrossings instantly appealed to me!! As a child I enjoyed writing to pen pals.
I have worked as a hypnotherapist and childbirth educator but have begun training as an End Of Life Doula, sometimes called a Death Doula.
I usually sing in 2 community choirs but have taken some time out from choirs but still sing at workshops and with friends. I enjoy classical, avant garde, traditional and world music, I especially enjoy listening to music that I can bellydance to.
I enjoy cooking. I especially like spicy food. Favourite cuisines: Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Turkish, Indian.
