About seaofstars...
I'm an American woman in my late twenties who lives with her husband and two cats, Loki and Magne! I love to travel--but because it is expensive I have only had the opportunity to visit Canada, France, Germany, and Japan and Okinawa so far. Where do you think I should travel next?
NOTE TO POSTCROSSERS FROM THE NETHERLANDS: I am planning on visiting your lovely country this summer! If you have anything my husband and I must visit, do, or eat, please let me know :)
I really enjoy art and would love to see works from your home country (or maybe your favorite painting!)
Also, I really love to cook and bake so if you have a favorite recipe, send it to me, please! (Metric units are just fine; I do understand grams and litres!) Even if you don't have a recipe, maybe you would like to tell me your favorite food to eat or a famous dish for your city/town/state/country and I can look up a recipe for myself? :)
Maybe you would like to cut out a postcard shape from a cardboard box of your favorite snack in your country and write on the back? I have received a few of these and it is always a fun surprise!
If you still need ideas, I would love cards with:
►cats!
►foxes
►hamsters
►cartoon animals (any animal at all)
►fairytales or dreams
►books
►letters or mail theme
►the color orange (my favorite color!)
►desserts (cakes, cookies, candy, and so on...)
►cards with art by Natasha Chetkova!
►words or phrases in your language, typography
►Moomin (Snufkin and Snorkmaiden are my favorites)
►Vinni Pukh (Винни-Пух)
►ドラえもん (Doraemon)
►Wallace and Gromit
►Tintin et Milou
**If you don't have a card that matches my list, it's okay! No problem! I will love any card you pick for me :) Pretty pictures are nice but I'm more interested in hearing about you!**
Big cards, small cards, shape cards, ad cards, handmade cards, cards in envelopes...I love them all!
高校生の時から、日本語を勉強してる。それ以外に、八年前、神戸大学の交換留学生だった。ポストカードを日本語ばかりで書いてもいい!漢字も大丈夫よ!(ひらがなだけがちょっと読みにくいだね...)
When you send me a postcard, I want you to know that I will always take the time to read what you have written for me and write you a response back when I register your postcard!
A Very Happy Postcrossing to You!
♥♥♥ A note to my fellow American Postcrossers: I have received a few American postcards with international postage on them--save your money! Sending a standard postcard within the US only costs $0.35, not $1.15! (though sometimes I personally use a "forever" stamp because I think the designs are more interesting!) - updated for January 2018 price increase ♥♥♥
