Greetings from Orange County, California!
My interests include traveling, soft block carving, rubber stamps, postage stamps, book arts, knitting, eastern & western calligraphy, maps, mixed media art, foreign languages, and photography.
I like just about any type of card (scenic, touristy, map, art, handmade).
A few years ago, I took an intensive but rewarding six-day workshop on icon painting in the Byzantine style, and have since continued my studies. If you happen to be from any of the countries that have postcards of icons, I would love to receive such cards. Thank you in advance! But please don't worry if this is not easily available.
As you can see by my avatar, I'm fond of the mute swan (Cygnus olor), but you don't have to send me a 'swan' card as I have already collected quite a few:
If you want to help me brush up my rusty school French, Spanish, and German, please write in those languages.
I also welcome 'mini lessons' in other languages.
Please remember to put the ID number on the card.
Occasionally cards get lost for one reason or another, but I don't expect anyone to register a card that he/she hasn't received from me. Likewise, please don't ask me to register a card that I haven't gotten from you. Thank you for your understanding.
And thank you in advance for your card!
Sometimes our US Postal Service affixes a half-inch-wide sticker across the front or back of the postcard. This strip is removable.

See you in the mail!
