Greetings from Orange County, California!
I like just about any type of card (scenic, touristy, map, art, handmade).
My interests include traveling, printmaking, rubber stamps, postage stamps, book arts, knitting, eastern & western calligraphy, maps, mixed media art, foreign languages, and photography.
A few years ago, I took an intensive but rewarding six-day workshop on icon painting in the Byzantine style, and have since continued my studies. If you happen to be from any of the countries that have postcards of icons, I would love to receive such cards. Thank you in advance! But please don't worry if this is not easily available.
As you can see by my avatar, I'm fond of the mute swan (Cygnus olor), but you don't have to send me a 'swan' card as I have already collected quite a few:
If you want to help me brush up my rusty school French, Spanish, and German, please write in those languages.
I also welcome 'mini lessons' in other languages.
Please remember to put the ID number on the card.
Thank you in advance for your card!
See you in the mail!
To my fellow U.S. Postcrossers:
Please join the campaign to request the U.S. Postal Service to issue a Postcrossing stamp! Spread the word by adding this info to your profile and then send a postcard (or write a letter) to:
