About Kerstin...

Hi, my name is Kerstin. I'm living in Mannheim, a town in the southern part of Germany, near Heidelberg and Frankfurt.
I'm married and have one daughter.

I like to send cards and to receive them. I love the opening of my letterbox and the moment of surprise:
Is there a card inside today?
From where does it come?
Who is the sender?
What is in front of the card?
Which story is told?
How does the stamp look like?

I love to travel and to visit different countries. I'm interested in other, ancient cultures, history, art and like reading and gardening.
I like sports, doing and watching. I do running, skiing, hiking, swimming. My favourite sports to watch is biathlon. I´m a great fan of the German team and of Ole Einar Björndalen.

My favourite colour is blue.

I'm happy with every card I will receive, but if you want to make me really happy, just send me a card with one of the following subjects:

**UNESCO sites
**recipe cards
**Vintage travel posters
**Keep calm
**Books
**Hearts
**Light houses
**Maps
**bears, orang-utans, wolves, lynx, foxes, squirrels and robins
**Les aventures de Tintin ( Tim und Struppi)
**nouvelles Images ( multiples)
**northern lights

Or perhaps you find something in my favourites. Please check, if this favourite is a postcard, which was sent to me. I think it is fair to give a heart to the cards i really like.

Ad-cards are fine, if they match with my collections.

It would be nice if you could write something in your native language and translate it in english!

Happy postcrossing!
