I'm originally from Ohio. I taught fifth and sixth grade math and science at a Catholic school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, worked for Edheads.org, and am now working as an educator at a planetarium and museum. I love to read (Scarlet Pimpernel and Brave New World are two favorites, I also love anything by Jasper Fforde). I read a lot of YA Fiction because I liked being able to recommend books to my students. I loved the Hunger Games trilogy, Harry Potter, and Inkheart. I also cook, bake, and crochet. I was a volunteer for the rabbit rescue in Baton Rouge (http://www.magichappensrescue.com), and you can see my first bunny, Bear, in my avatar. I love animals of all sorts, but bunnies are special to me.

I love it when something unexpected and unusual happens! I'm passionate about my likes and dislikes: there is very little middle ground with me. However, I consider myself to be very open minded and willing to explore. I am made of paradoxes. :)

I'm hoping to learn a little bit about what your life is like through your postcard. This is my way of seeing the world, until I'm actually able to travel it myself.
