Happy New year 2024! Year of the Dragon!

I am 60 years old and I grew up in Mesa, Arizona and I am still here. It gets very hot. We also have a house we built 30 years ago, in Las Navajas, Jalisco, Mexico.

I am a wife, mom and grandma Shel. I have one daughter, two sons, 2 grandsons, one granddaughter, and a angel twin of hers.

I love animals, reading, volunteering, gardening, plants, fussy cutting shapes from paper, scrapbooking, baking, card making, recipes, writing.

I'm a author of my first of seven Children's books called,
The adventures of sour pickle. Yay!!

I am a substitute librarian, for 85 schools, for 13 years. I've taught grades K-6th and reading. We live simple and are always trying to help others. I am a Catholic.

We have 3 dogs, a new puppy, lots of aquatic snails, #48th flock of chicks born in 25 years, 30 hens and 3 roosters. We used to have guinea pigs, hamsters, ducks, more hens, roosters, turkeys, geese, love birds, parakeets, rabbits, and a turtle.

Please make sure you don't write on the bottom lower part, as the post office puts a stamped bar code there, and it's unreadable.

Favorites would be: Christmas, hens, chicks, roosters, book related and food ones. Thanks for sending postcards to my mailbox! :)
