About Sarah...

Hello and welcome!

My name is Sarah. I was born in London, England and moved to America when I was very young. I love both places! Right now I am working at the local school district to help organize and send school children their lunches each day.

I travel the world a few times each year during the school holidays. I've been to 6 continents and my goal is to see all 7 by age 42. Travelling is my one true love and I can't wait to see where I end up next!

I live with my darling fiancé, a senior fat cat named Celty and recently we welcomed a new kitten named Lina. We have a small and happy home that we love painting and fixing up into something welcoming to all. I love to cook! Doing the dishes...not my favorite task but while doing housework I'm usually listening to true crime or video game podcasts.

I love the idea of cultural exchange through Postcrossing so please tell me what your daily life is like, your hobbies, pets and families, favourites or dreams come true of your own. Tell me what you have learned about America through school, news, films, or travel!

I am interested in sending and receiving postcards, letters, and packages from and to anywhere in the world!

Some things I love:

Pokémon!! (the hobby that indirectly got me into studying foreign culture)
Horror film & local urban legends
Any unusual, memorable, or funny dreams you can remember having
bicycles
filmmaking (a movie poster card from your country would be great!)
drawings and illustrations of animals or local places
Big Ben
camping
National parks
Nature and animals
Anime and manga
All kinds of food!

Any good puns or jokes you know. I have a really really good sense of humour. If you are artistic and feeling particularly ambitious I would love a handmade card! There is not enough hand-crafted art in the world these days. I will never ever judge you if you choose to send me anything handmade!!!

I normally only use the US's international stamp for convenience and faster mailing, so sorry stamp collectors!

Christmas and birthday cards are happily accepted year-round!

If your card is on its way to me and still travelling AFTER 55 days please let me know - I'll register it.

Happy postcrossing and looking forward to hearing from you!
