About Alenka...

Hi dear postcrosser,

My name is Alenka.
I live in a village near Koper, a town on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. I love travelling, hiking, meeting friends, reading books, watching films. And getting nice postcards.
I'm a teacher, I've got three grown-up children.

I'd be happy to receive postcards showing sights from different places, cities, countryside, landscape and scenes from everyday life, portraits etc. I also like artistic photography.
It is nice to be able to read about what the photo in the postcard is showing me😊
It would really make my day to find one of these in my mailbox:

Postallove "Greetings from" (so far I have received one from Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Moscow, Middelburg (NL), Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and USA).
Maximum postcards such as https://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2012/03/19/postcard-formats-maxicards
Postcards with artistic calligraphy letters (like the photo of my avatar) – my goal is to collect the whole alphabet.
Vintage American postcards where scenes from across the state appear in the letters of the name of the state such as https://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/US-5675851
I'd love to read a bit about the person sending the card, your country or where you live. It would be interesting to learn something new about your country or the city or town you live in. I'll be happy to read what makes your day.

I don't like to receive postcards with "cute" pets but I love wild animal photos.
Please don't send me advertising cards, Christmas, New Year, Easter, or handmade cards.
If possible, please send me a card from the country you live in.
I'll be happy to receive any card though. On the back of the card, please write the date and the weather.

Thank you!

PS If it happens you visit this part of the world, I won't mind to be your local guide for a day. ☺
