About Scott...

My name is Scott and I am a 42 year old secretary with my local Democratic Party in Oak Ridge, Tennessee USA. In university, I was a political science major. I love to travel and have been all over the world. So far I have traveled to:
Canada
Mexico
Ireland
United Kingdom
France
The Netherlands
Italy
China
Australia
Egypt
Turkey
South Africa
Swaziland
Botswana
Zambia
Zimbabwe

I do not get to travel as much as I used to, but I still get around. Since my father passed away suddenly in July 2021, it has become much harder for me to get away as I must help care for my elderly mother. So I cannot just leave her for weeks while I fly off halfway around the world. Still, someday I hope to get back out in the world, for now Postcrossing will have to do for travel! If I have not been to your country yet, give me time. :) So many countries...so short is life...

I get asked alot about what is my favourite country or place I have been? I think it is the most common question I am asked! The answer, I honestly do not have a favourite country or place. Every country and place I have been is my favourite, each in its own unique way.

I love postcards from different places in the world. My favourite postcards would be cards that are travel related that show something of your city, town, or country. Please tell me a little about yourself too, that would be nice. I'd prefer not to get World Postcard Day cards as I'd like to see a little bit of the city/town/state/province/country you live instead. Of course, I will be happy with anything you send me!

I always send my postcards in an envelope, I think it is so much more fun that way since I can say so much more about myself and the card then if I send the card alone. That and I write very big. I like to include a short letter about myself and the postcard. You can send my card with or without an envelope, what you want to do is fine with me :-) Thank you so much and Happy Postcrossing!!
