My name's Roman. I come from Kladno but currently I live in Prague. I'm a PhD student in Media Studies at Charles University in Prague. Before entering the PhD programme I worked as a journalist. I'm involved in a lot of other activities: for example I run a website about history of my city (at www.kladnominule.cz) and I edit and publish books in our small "publishing house" called Halda (we also published several postcards (see http://www.haldaknih.cz/halda-knih.html).

I'd like to receive:
- landscapes, nature (especially mountains!)
- cards with pictures of your city or village (especially photos from the bird's perspective)
- photos of some historic buildings or interesting architecture (castles, city halls, town squares...)
- cards with reproductions of impressionist paintings
- reproductions of propaganda posters
or something that captures the place where you live. I'd like to receive a "single photo" cards rather than "puzzles".

Please, no advertising cards.

I'd be grateful for some information about the places on the card - something about history, architecture or famous person which lives/lived there.

I like classical music, jazz and contemporary literature, so you can give me a suggestion. Or write something about journalists and journalism in your country/city - this would be a great contribution for me.

I want to receive my postcards without envelope.
