About Deanna...

Greetings from the Green Mountain State, in Mendon, Vermont, USA!

I live in my mountain house in Vermont with my small tiger cat, Hitch. She is a polydactyl kitty with extra digits on both of her front paws. But she doesn't like other animals, so I only have her, but she does like me since I feed her :)

I work in data privacy. When I'm not working, I enjoy being outside and hiking, backpacking, skiing, kayaking, watching movies, cooking and baking (everything from bread to beet burgers), reading, and traveling (locally, nationally, and internationally). And of course, I love postcards!

I like postcards of all kinds. But if you like some ideas:
-funny / weird cards
-outdoor scenery, especially winter
-animals (e.g., owls, cats, whatever is native to your land!)
-your favorite place in your country
-anything you have, don't worry, each card is special!

Feel free to write anything you like on the postcard. Or if you want:
1.) What is a silver lining or something beneficial that has happened to you during the covid-19 pandemic?
2.) Tell me what is your secret wish.
3.) Are you doing something you love each day? Why or why not?
4.) What do you love about where you live?
5.) Tell me about the best travel experience you've ever had.
6.) What do you think is funny?
7.) What is your favorite memory, that you like to recall, over and over again, that makes you happy?
8.) What do you want to happen in your life in the next couple of years?

I look forward to your postcard :)
Deanna

I received a postcard from Anna in Korea, which doesn't seem to have a postcrossing ID number on it. Anna, if you see this let me know what the number is and I would to register your card. I hope your dog, Nuni, gets better!

July 20, 2015 - I received a card from Fika in Malyasia, but it seems that the ID on the card got kind of ripped off, the postcard is frayed. So I can only see MY-265 and not the rest of the numbers. If you can share with me what it is, I will register this card. thanks

September 2016 - I got a postcard from Russia with ID RU-3890416 (that's what it looks like), but this ID comes up as being over 365 days old so I can't register it. I have tried postcrossing help and variations in case the ID is something else, but it really looks like those digits. If you sent me this card and can clarify the ID, I will register it. thanks
