Hi! I am a former newspaper editor and reporter now working in communications for a health-advocacy nonprofit, with some freelance writing and editing on the side. I love learning about people around the world. I studied Spanish — I love the language — and spent several months in Toledo, Spain, and I've also worked at a newspaper in Jerusalem, Israel. I love books, music, traveling, photography and photos, gardening, maps, sunflowers, smiles, words and quotes. I like grits and Josh Groban, I talk fast, I play violin and I have ugly feet. My husband and I have two cats, and I absolutely love elephants.

I like cards with quotes, photos, smiles, cats or elephants, cards about books, journalism or writing, cards celebrating women and feminism, photos of people, places and animals around the world, cards featuring the color blue — there's a lot that interests me. I like funny or unusual or weird or risqué cards. My favorites and the info above about me might give you some ideas, but I like every postcard!
