Hello. I am Renee Ferreira. I live in the city of Port Elizabeth on the East coast of South Africa. We have about 1.5 million people living here. I have been married for 35 years and have two grown married daughters, one living in Port Elizabeth and the other in Cambridge, UK where our first grandson is 2 years old. It is very hard to be so far away from my family.

I have been lecturing Marketing and Statistics at the local university for the last 30 years. I enjoy reading and would love to hear your recommendations for books you have recently enjoyed. I also enjoy learning about the cultures in the different countries of the world. I would love to travel but unfortunately have not had the opportunity to travel too extensively. I visit my daughter in the UK quite often and have been to Thailand a few times. I have also holidayed in Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Vietnam and Germany and Austria. On my bucket list are visits to Zanzibar, Turkey, Croatia and Egypt.
