I love postcards. When I was a child, we used to have a closet door entirely covered with greeting cards our relatives and friends had sent us from holiday trips. I used to sit there for hours, in the closet, just looking at the postcards, and dreaming about those beautiful far away places. There was Austrian alps and Australian barrier reef, pyramids from Egypt and Mexico, Kilimanjaro with zebras on the foreground, Loch Ness with ruins of a castle, sunny Greek islands and misty Niagara falls, etc, all mixed together into one colorful tapestry. I just looooved that door...
