I am a retired Kindergarten teacher living in a small town on the Oregon coast. It rains a lot here, but I like that it's not hot in the summer and not very cold in the winter. It's a semi-rural area and we sometimes have bears in our yard!
I love art of all kinds and work with mixed media, collage, art journaling, but mostly Zentangle. I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher and teach several classes a month.

I love reading and I am also a substitute Reference Librarian. Favorite authors: Barbara Kingsolver, Susan Vreeland, Truman Capote are just three.

I like most music styles, but tend to listen to my "oldies, but goodies" the Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Donovan, Jimmy Buffett.

favorite things: dogs (I have a Bouvier du Flandres and a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier), whales, bears, elephants, Halloween, circus themes, Mickey Mouse, and art supplies of all kinds.

I love traveling. Outside the US, I've been to France, England, Ireland, Mexico and Canada. My husband and I have travelled a lot within the US, mostly in our 25 foot Airstream trailer.

I love learning about other countries and cultures (I actually have a Batchelor's degree in Anthropology.) I look forward to hearing about other places.
