I live in northern Michigan in a small town on Lake Michigan. It is a beautiful area with many lakes and rolling hills, known for its beaches in the summer and skiing in the winter. I am a recently retired special education teacher. Now I volunteer in a second grade classroom and teach reading to at risk readers. I love to travel ,read, paint, sew, make jewelry and any yarn craft. I also love learning about other cultures.
