I live in the Chicago suburbs, but we are defined by the city of Chicago. I enjoy the various museums, zoos, nature centers, and places to eat that make Chicagoland special! My interests include: reading; older, classic films; musical theatre; ancestry and genealogy; Louisiana; history of the Royal Family of Great Britain; architecture; cruising; cooking; amusement/theme parks, roller coasters; oceans, seas, rivers, marine life, mountains; antiques/vintage; and tennis. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, lived in New York City for nearly twenty years, and most of my family now resides in southern Louisiana. I've traveled to the Caribbean islands via cruises, but I dream of traveling to Europe and beyond someday. I have no preference of postcards, I'm just happy to receive one, so whatever your heart and mind desires to share, I look forward to it!
