I love San Francisco, the city I live in on the west coast of the United States--I just hope the earth doesn't start shaking here any time soon!

A few years ago I retired from work as a technical publications manager/tech writer in the software industry. Now I focus on my own photo, web, and design projects, and keeping our old house standing. I am also active in trying to preserve the architectural and industrial heritage of San Francisco.

I love computers and digital cameras, but also love writing analog letters and cards with fountain pens, as well as reading books with paper pages.

ANY POSTCARD YOU SEND IS FINE--commercial, vintage, handmade, recycled, advertising--especially if it says something about you, your place or what you like, your sense of humor, or what you are interested in.

IF YOU WANT INSPIRATION, I enjoy cards with:

~Dancers, acrobats, circus performers, athletes
~Unusual sculpture
~Architecture, especially industrial structures
~Botanical subjects
~Ruins and/or ancient structures ('henges', burial mounds, dolmen, etc.)
~Vintage graphic or real photographic cards from any decade

(But I also like to be surprised.)
