Greetings, fellow citizens of this tiny planet.
Real mail with real stamps. Real messages hand-written by real people. WHAT A GREAT IDEA!
I am 72 years old and retired from a local university library where I was preservation manager for many years. My wife is a retired elementary school Teacher/Librarian.
We now have only 2 dogs (Pintobean, and Mister Legs) since we buried sweet old Bagel in mid-May 2020, and 2 cats (Emma, a Manx mix with no tail, and B'inky, a one-eyed orange tabby).
I am an avid reader and gardener. I’m a huge fan of college basketball, many different kinds of music, and bird watching. I spend a lot of my time working in clay, making both pottery and small sculptures (see avatar).
I have no expectations regarding cards; I just look forward to the surprise of anything that you may care to send or express, but I hope you will tell me something about yourself and your daily life. Who is a favorite musician? . . . a favorite book? . . . a favorite quote?
I appreciate unusual stamps also, especially of BIRDS.
