Greetings from Canada!

I'm Lorelei, 46 years old, originally from Vancouver and grew up near the sea. Now I live on the prairies where the wildlife is amazing and the sky goes on forever with beautiful sunrises and vivid stars at night. I am an amateur nature/wildlife photographer.

My friends say my best qualities are good advice and keeping secrets. If you would like to share a secret with me or have a problem you need to solve, I would love to help. And of course, I won't tell anybody.

My background is German, Scottish and Ukrainian. My hobbies include reading, baking, swimming, time in nature and travel. I also have an unending interest in WWII and read and watch many things from that era. I love to see new places and am genuinely interested in people. I work as a freelance writer and have a Master's degree in Cultural Studies so please share a bit of your world with me!

I love dessert so if you want to send me a postcard with something delicious on it from your country, that would be fun but I am open to any kind of card. I speak French and English and look forward to making some new friends here.
