A polite request: I would like to make a recipe collection of foods from your country. Please share with me a recipe to bake/make something on the back of your postcard.

I was a museum curator in botany, retired since January 2018. Also I am a mother, partner, friend and daughter. My interests are varied: flowers and ferrets are a specialty.

Postcards? I have collected them for 40 years. My favourites are artistic cards, lighthouses, trains and and botanical cards, if the plants are identified. Ad-cards too I like and hand-made postcards of course! I don't mean to offend anyone, but I really do not want anymore folded cards. This site is for the exchange of postcards.

Any postcard you choose for me will make me happy. My focus is on you the person, not the postcard. It is a bonus! It saddens me to receive folded greeting cards as that is not in the spirit of postcrossing. Neither am I interested in teabags, coins, or other items.

I am happy to honour your requests to use envelopes and lots of stamps. But if you also want the card blank, I won't be writing a letter too! I write on the postcard or the ID is written on the envelope only.

A note from October 2018. I just received a card from Jullie in Russia, ID number 3746159. Apparently it was mailed May of 2015. I just received it October 15 2018! However, the Russian cancellation was 27 September 2018. I wonder where it sat??
