About Mitja...

Hi all fellow Postcrossers!

I live in Turku, beautiful big city in the South Finland. I'm working as Payroll Specialist and I really like my job. I'm kind of nerd, I like numbers and keeping things in order. :) I'm also a seamstress so making and designing clothes is very familiar for me. I love studying and learning new things. The best thing is going to café with a book, have a tea and watch people walking around, everyone doing their own business.

I'm really into Japanese culture and cosplay, which relates my work as a seamstress. It's really challenging to create costumes. I've been cosplaying over 15 years so it's very dear hobby of mine. I'm also passionate poledancer and I also dance ballet.

I love to watch movies, and some of my favourites are Alien movies, The Orphanage, Chicago, Black Swan, Fight Club, Tarantino movies, Dogville, Japanese horror movies (Ju-on), Iron Sky, Butterfly Effect, Sauna (the very best Finnish horror movie!). My all the time favourite TV-shows are House M.D. and The Walking Dead.

I'd like to have music on the background all the time, I think it's really nice and relaxing. I also like to sing and karaoke is really fun! My favourite artists are Pink, Anthony Lazaro, Antti Tuisku, Flute of Shame, Imogen Heap, Pariisin Kevät and so on. Instrumental music is really nice too.

I'd love to receive all kinds of beautiful cards~.
Especially I love following things:

- beautiful garden birds!
- fashion, old style, vintage, romance
- fairytales, watercolour
- poledance, ballet
- beautiful women, pin up's, burlesque, erotic art
- Japanese culture, kimonos, origamis
- LGBT+ themed cards are also very welcome!
- birthday cards in January, I love celebrating little things in life~

It would be nice if you could write in the card something about your country's local birds. It would be very interesting to know what kind of birds your country has and what kind of names they have in your language. In my avatar you can see a goldfinch which is "tikli" in Finnish. :)

Also a little doodle of bird would be wonderful! <3

For Russian Postcrossers: I'd love to have Russian ballet-themed postcards! I've seen a few of those and I think they're really beautiful. It'd really make my day to receive something like that.
