I love to experience new things... So would be happy if you write something in your language and/or something about your town/country... history, culture... whatever, i'm sure it'll be interesting... but please write SOMETHING. I don't enjoy cards which don't have any information - reading something interesting, for me, is the most exciting thing about Postcrossing!! I'm sure I'll like the card you choose but I hate it when people just write one sentence - whats the point?!

I prefer cards with no envelope because I like to have the stamp on the card... I don't like ad cards. I also like to get a card from your city or an explanation of why you chose it :)

I'm English, I have lived in Poland for since 2007, originally from (close to) Manchester in the north west of England. I am an English teacher and I love my job!

I would like to travel more in the future, maybe teach in some different countries. Right now i travel as much as i can because its one of my major hobbies! I finished a trip around Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia last year- it was so good!!

I also love reading and going to the cinema and of course, going out drinking and dancing with my friends!! I love music, my preference is Rock/Punk/Ska - but I also listen to other types of music. I especially like meeting new people and can get along with almost anyone. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh!!

If you include your address on the postcard I will try to send you a postcard back - but no promises... I love the idea of penfriends - its an 'old' tradition that i would like to keep alive!

Additional information - but not 'strict' - I'm happy for your choice with a story, quote, recipe, something about you, what your did today... whatever :)

Nature - waterfalls, beautiful views, animals (I love penguins, cats, giraffes... anything really!)
Food - something local (!?)
Art/literature
Interesting images
An iconic building in your town/city
Flags/maps
Special event/festival/tradition in your town/city/country
Something traditional - or even stereotypical from your country (for example, I love the Russian dolls postcards, but i haven't received one yet.. Or bullfighting from Spain... Or traitional costumes from Germany, beers/mussels from Belgium - you get the idea!)
Funny cards
The northern lights (Aurora)
Natural phenomenons (tornados, volcanos etc.)
Strange cartoons - like the chinese/Japanese/Taiwanese cats - Moomins and Tintin etc
Butterflies
Pin up girls/vintage
Strange cards

I DON'T like:
Cards made from an old bit of cardboard
Advertising/free cards (unless its special)
Cards that have almost nothing written on them
Cards from somewhere that's not from your city or has no meaning
