About Lisa...

**NEW for 2018 - (RUSSIAN POSTCROSSERS especially!) my son and his friend are HUGE fans of the FIFA world cup, so any stamps or postcards or special stickers/envelopes, etc. related to FIFA would be appreciated and shared with them!

ABOUT ME:
I have always loved sending cards and letters so of course I think Postcrossing is a wonderful idea. I love making art of all kinds, and especially creating things out of recycled materials. I also like gardening and reading. I have lived in many places across the US, and always enjoy traveling and seeing new regions of our country with my four children and husband. I am an elementary teacher so I appreciate learning about new people and places, and sharing them with my students.

I look forward to "meeting" you from across the world through postcards. I am happy with ANY card and love the written part on the back the most. BUT will give you a few ideas here:

**-a handmade card of ANY kind would be great, or even just small sketches and doodles from you.

AND, I also like:
-umbrellas
-ferris wheels
-windows or doorways
-black and white photos
-unusual or retro scenes with people
-children
-map of your area, especially old ones
-people wearing hats
-that random/artsy card that doesn't fit a category
-handmade cards
-a card made out of your favorite food box or interesting packaging that shows something unique from your country...ESPECIALLY with writing in your language
-interesting stamps
-when you write a few words or a phrase in YOUR LANGUAGE (with a translation if possible!)

ABOUT YOU:
THANKS for taking the time to do this, and for writing me a NOTE about yourself. I always look forward to your card, and hearing about what you enjoy doing or what is special about where YOU live. Tell me what LIFE IS LIKE FOR YOU TODAY!!

All the best,
Lisa
