Hi....my name is Catherine....I was born in England and now live in South Africa and love my country. A qualified teacher now retired, I now spend my days crafting....sewing, knitting, recycling and upcycling and have a new love, my Silhouette Cameo. I have 5 beautiful children, my two daughters are married with 2 daughters each (4 granddaughters who I adore and cherish) and my sons have yet to settle down. Would love to receive vintage type postcards to add to my inspiration wall, or anything crafty.....colourful, funky, anything to bring a smile to my face. I love owls....birds...rabbits...foxes...toadstools...fairies...woodlands...dolls...and I love hearts! (more an arty representation than the real looking object)....often making cushions or finding a design to sew onto a t shirt for my granddaughters. Favourite colours include raspberry, rhubarb and turquoise...and my craftroom is full of variations of those colours. Love washi tape, there is so much you can do with it and collect buttons and ribbon! A little bit of a hoarder of all things crafty i guess and love making things from charity shop finds....amazing how many pieces you can make from an old pair of jeans! I also love stationery.....Gosh, I do love a lot of things!
