About Lynette...

I'm a happily married mom of two young adults. I'm a bird watcher, writer and photographer. I love to travel too and have a long list of places I want to go to.
I am inspired by nature, music, places and objects with history, and other people's creations--words, artwork, photos. I believe there is a creative place inside all of us and we need to feed and protect it or we lose an important part of what it means to be human.

I love to receive postcards of any kind but if you want some ideas here they are:
- birds-especially illustrations or other artwork about birds
-lighthouses (I don't get to see them where I live)
-any kind of animal, wild or domestic.
-single view tourist cards with your city or country name on the front
-Big Letter cards
-“Greetings from” series from Postallove
-people with interesting faces especially elderly people.
-“Did You Know” cards
-map cards
-travel posters
-cat illustrations (Blue cats, Alexey Dolotov, Irina Garmashova or any you think I would enjoy)
-Inge Look illustrations
-House-Mouse cards
-trees and flowers
-doors,windows and staircases especially brightly painted ones.
-old buildings or objects.
-handmade or photos you took yourself. If you make a card, please tell me a little about it
-weird or humorous cards.
-anything interesting about your town/city or country, like monuments or famous buildings

Please write something on the back--I think cards with only my address or just “happy Postcrossing” look so sad! Tell me something you find interesting or special about where you live or the name of your favorite author or artist. Tell me what you do or love or what your favorite food is. I enjoy hearing about you!
Please don’t use an envelope unless you have to- I like the travelled look.
If you are not comfortable writing in English write me a few words in your own language.
Thank you! I'm looking forward to finding your postcard in my mailbox. In fact I will be ridiculously excited. :)
