Hi! My name is Katerina, I'm from St. Petersburg. I work in a Museum as a guidance counselor for the museum and educational activities and I like it.

I really love postcards and interesting stories. I travel a lot and recently started sending myself postcards from different cities and countries. It seems to me very funny, so I decided to do postcrossing to get postcards from strangers all over the world.

I love all sorts of unusual things, so collect postcards on such topics:
- churches and temples
- strange costumes of past centuries
- images with night scenery and lighting
- fog

Among the more traditional themes I prefer:
- cards with cameras and vintage photos
- cards with inscriptions in different languages
- sculpture
- cooking and recipes
- animals
- graphic
- books and libraries
- knitting

If you want to write me something you can tell me:
- any legend of your country
- interesting recipe of your traditional cuisine
- your painting
- or write me something in your native language

But please don't send me postcards with country flags and tourist views. It's interesting, but too monotonous.

I don't mind postcards in envelopes, double postcards or entire letters. If you want you can give me return address on the postcard you send me to write you a letter of response.

Всем привет! Меня зовут Катя, я родилась и выросла в Петербурге. Работаю в музее и люблю свое дело.

Я очень люблю путешествовать и часто отправляла себе открытки из разных уголков мира. Когда я узнала о посткроссинге, то решила попробовать отправлять открытки незнакомцам по всему миру и получать такие послания от случайных людей.

Я буду рада любым открыткам: в конвертах, без них, большим, маленьким, двойным. Если Вам нужна помощь в выборе, то мне было бы приятно получить открытку:

- со старыми фотоаппаратами и фотографиями
- с рецептами и всем, что связано с кулинарией

- на тему вязания и вязаных вещей
- с книгами и библиотеками

Пожалуйста, не отправляйте мне открытки с флагами и туристическими видами. Это интересно, но весьма однообразно.
