Hello and Happy Postcrossing to you all! I was born and raised in old city of Prague, in the proverbial Heart of Europe. I like rich history of my hometown, I like its gothic and baroque architecture and sublime views of the Vltava river valley in morning mist. What I really do not like, is the mass tourist industry, which managed to despoil utterly most of my hometown.

Recently I finally earned my PhD (in historical anthropology) and started working as university researcher and lecturer. I like history, pre-classical music, old sacral sights and monuments, good reading, going to concerts, writing my diary with my old style fountain pen and collecting postcards, those little messengers of literary culture, which has been vanishing so quickly in our digital age.

Please mail REAL POSTCARDS, not homemade printouts, thank you very much :-) I also do not like blank postcards in the envelope - in my opinion this goes against the purpose of the postcard... which was designed to be written and stamped and mailed without an envelope...

Please avoid free ad cards, postcards with explicit nudity and cards, displaying strong political opinion, which would make me uncomfortable.

If you can, please use several nice postage stamps of smaller value, instead of one stamp, thank you very much :-)
