Hi there,

i'm Kirsten, a German woman living in Holland for quite a long time now. I love to cook curries and other asian food and bake virtually everything, in particular when it consists of lemons or chocolate (so if you like to, please send me your favourite recipe).

I also love to read all kind of books (writers like Arnon Grunberg), like to watch a good movie (especially japanese ones - Okuribito is one of my all time favourites) and am an enthousiastic backgammon player. In my free time i like to take pictures in abandoned (industrial) buildings. The quiet and peaceful feeling i get there is priceless. Observing nature taking over these places is just beautiful.

Writing and receiving postcards is something special on an ordinary day - i am really looking forward to it! And of course i'm already dreaming of a whole collection of special postcards in a nice box - sitting on my sofa, reading them once in a while with a good cup of tea. And i love to try to pick the one special card for someone else - it's really fun searching for it and imagining the small happiness the one you are sending your card to might feel when he or she opens the mailbox :)
