About Cindy...
Hello!
My name is Cindy, I'am 49 years old and live in the north of the Netherlands. I'm a psychologist and I work with older people who suffer from dementia. Since last year I am also a parrot counselor.
I'm much of a crafts person, I like to scrap, make cards, to crochet, embroider en stuff like that. I love animals, nature, parrots/parakeets, mills, retro cards, ukulele, cards with old people en much more. Hand made cards are also welcome and christmas cards throughout the year.
Also with sweets and stuff like recipes, because I love to bake, make cakes and cupcakes for my family, my husband and three children (22, 19,16,13 y.o.). I am a vegan, so all my bakes are plant based.
I love all animals, especially parrots and dogs. Next to 5 parakeets, 2 kakariki’s we have a Senegal parrot. We also have three dogs: a Cavalier King Charles Spaniël, a Shih tzu and a Golden Retriever. I dream of having a African Grey, but I haven’t got the room for him, as you could understand :).
My latest hobby is collecting typewriters and typewriter postcards. So if you could find me a postcard with a typewriter on it, it would be great!
And I love everything that is British! Great Britain is my favorite country to go on holiday. I love the landscape, people (humor;-) and food (cakes). There are so many places to eat vegan in the UK.
Right now I am collecting also postcards about New York, Las Vegas, the National Parks etc. Also postcards with RV's/motorhomes/campers/ trailers. In 2018 we have made a road trip through the West of the United States and that was great.
And like many people I like Korean and other Asian soaps. I don't know if there are any postcards about that, maybe if you're from South Korea or elsewhere in Asia?
Or maybe postcards with parrots or other birds?
Postcards make my day! I am looking forwards to see what you'll send me. Every postcard makes my happy, so don't worry if it doesn’t match with the things above. I like to know all about other countries and lives, so write me some details about your everyday life.
Thanks in advance!
