Hello, I am 53 years young. I live in a village. It's situated about 50 km above Amsterdam, and about 12 km near Hoorn.

Because of me, my brother has signed up for Postcrossing, his name is Birdies. but he is not very active anymore, I think.

I live toghether with my friend, no kids.

I don't have a paid job because I was medically rejected due to a cerebral infarction.
I can still do a lot of things but I don't have the energy to keep things going for long. So I do volunteer work, 2 afternoons a week.
I like to reading books, watch TV.
And geocaching is also a hobby of ours.

When it is nice wheather, we like walking in the nature and watch birds (other animals are nice, too). We are doing a long-distance-walkingpath, piece by piece. It is 190 km long and we are walking it in etappes of about 12 - 15 km by time. It's called the Noord-Holland path.

Biking is also a thing I like to do with nice wheather. We had several times a bike holiday, cycling from B&B to B&B for a week. In the last few years we have cycled the tour of Netherlands. Last year we have the tour completed so now we can get a certificate. The tour of Netherlands route is about 1200 km long.
