About Margriet...

What fun to send positive messages around the world with postcrossing! I love post :). How nice it is to make someone happy with a personal and sincerely written card! Then you just get a gift in your mailbox :). For me, real mail may exist forever. Apart from all modern communication. I also prefer to read real books and magazines instead of e-books or online articles. And I prefer to write rather than type. Well, call it old-fashioned, but I get happier from real-life than virtual :).

If we are talking about what else makes me happy, I like to illustrate too and love many other creative techniques, making something beautiful for others, reading books, making music, my work with young people, going on naturewalks and ... children's books! The stories, the drawings, I think it's great. Even though I am not a child anymore ;-) The messages in the stories are also nice for adults. Perhaps especially for adults. And the drawings often make me happy.

- What I would really like is for you to write on your card what your favourite children's book is
(and why).

- And something else I would like is if you would want to write your favourite word (in your
own language). I love languages and words and I'm curious what word you like (and why)!

Then soon I will have a worldwide list of beautiful words and children's books. How nice is that!

Will you also put the date and place on the card?

Thank you!

I look forward to meeting you through postcards.

Margriet

Oh and, unfortunately I miss the knack for the English language. So forgive me if there is a mistake in my English texts. When I asked a friend if she wanted to check my texts for errors, she said that the recipients might find it charming when my English is sometimes a bit clumsy. Matter of thinking differently ;-)
