About Nanette...

Hey, I'm Nanette :D
But you can also call me Nana. It's a nickname that stuck with me and I tend to use it pretty much everywhere.

I'm 22 years old and a sophomore at uni, where I study Journalism.
Before that, I've also studied Japanese for 2 years at university, which was great fun as well.
So if you're writing in Japanese, please bear in mind that I'm not super good at it ;)

My biggest hobby is snowboarding. I love it. It really is my life. But I also like reading a lot and lately I've become more interested in photography as well (might have something to do with my study).

I'm also big into gaming (yes, yes, bit of a geek), Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, .. bottomline; if it's a bit geeky, I'll probably love it!

I don't really have a preference when it comes to the type of postcard. If you like a postcard and write something nice on it, then I'll be equally happy :D
But if you do want to get an idea of what to send me, here are some of the things I like:
- cartoons
- Harry Potter/Star Wars/Merlin/Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings/Doctor Who/Sherlock (if any of these interest you, feel free to write about it!)
- nature
- sunset/sunrise views
- winter landscapes
- snowboarding
- city views (both single & multi view)
- historical sites
- old photographs (and photography in general)
- fashion
- night views
- cute things
- humour
- Volkswagen T1 (you know, the old VW vans)

I don't have anything against ad cards, as long as they're somewhat nice or interesting.
Even homemade cards are welcome! If they're fragile I do ask to put them in an envelope if possible.
Because I'm also interested in photography, if you take pictures yourself; I'd love to receive them as a card as well! :D

I also really love old postcards that have been sent out before. So if you happen to come across one of those, please do send them to me (preferably in an envelope). I love reading about people who lived decades ago, makes me curious about their history :)

For people who are interested in direct swaps:
I have plenty of "the Bunny Suicides" postcards, so if you'd like to swap one of those for a postcard of your own, do contact me :)

Fyi, the postcards in my favourites are mostly postcards that I already received, so no need to base yourself on them to find me a card ;)
