About Vi...

Hello Postcrossers!

I am Vi! I am 33 years old. I live in Florida USA. I am married to my wonderful husband of 8 years. I speak Spanish, French and English and am happy to communicate in any of those languages.

I have lived in Portugal, France, Switzerland, Thailand, India, Dubai and more recently the good old US of A.

I really love learning of Folk Stories from different places. Did your grandma tell you a "traditional" story from your area when you were a child? Maybe it was about Baba Yaga or perhaps a Smart Chicken or the Youngest Son going on an adventure or how the Camel got his hump... Please tell me! I want to hear of your Folk Tales/Mythology specifically from your area!!!

I love to read (so suggestions for good writers are always welcome) I enjoy cooking and listening music, so if you know a great band or artist, let me know.

I find making crafts (knitting/embroidery/jewelry making) and drawing cartoons very relaxing and I am always working on an art project.

Listed below are postcards that are my favorite, however you are in no way obliged to send any of these. I'll be happy with whatever you send me. Promise.

- Whimsical, Fairytales, Folklore, Mythology, Stories from your area/country
- Textiles, National Clothing, Embroidery, Lace, Beads or Traditional Costumes of your area!
- Cool/Quirky Cartoons
- UNESCO World Heritage Site cards
- Famous Buildings, Monuments, Castles, Bridges, Churches of your area!
- Doors and Windows, Stained Glass
- Street Art
- Recipe Postcard of your Favourite/National Dish

I am not fond of...
- Scary/Creepy/Ghost Cards
- Monsters
- Skulls
- Gore
- Cats
- Naked Girls (but Men are Okay!)

If you don't know what to write to me about; please tell me something about yourself/your country, tell me a fairy tale from your country, write me a poem, a dream you've had recently, what are you having for dinner or your favorite quote/song lyrics, just please don't write "Happy Postcrossing!" Please try to use stamps as I am starting to collect them. Please no envelopes and please write the date! 💖

Love to hear from you soon!
XOXO,

Vi
