Hi! I’m Paul and live in Eagan, Minnesota. Eagan has a population of about 67,000 people and is located a few miles south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. I work in finance for the mailing and shipping industry. I attended the 2016 National Postal Forum in Nashville, Tennessee where I first learned about Postcrossing and I thought I’d give it a try. What an interesting way to connect with people around the world.

When I’m not at work, I can often be found running around the beautiful lakes, rivers, and parkways in the Twin Cities. I’ve run 9 full marathons, and several half-marathons. I’ve completed nearly 100 organized races and find runners some of the most interesting and compassionate people in the world. I enjoy hearing their stories.

I also like writing and I’m always reading a book. Tell me what you are reading! I still believe in the emotional power of hand-written correspondence, which piqued my interest in Postcrossing.

My partner, Pete, and I have shared 10-years of our lives (so far) and we enjoy cooking, dinner parties, theatre, music, hiking, biking, and travel. We’re generally up for a new adventure.

I’ve traveled extensively in the United States (only 8 states I’ve yet to visit). I’ve also traveled to Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, Greece, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Indonesia, Barbados, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
