I am happy to meet you through PostCrossings!! I am a mother of three wonderful girls and three precious grandchildren, (two girls and a 6 yr. old boy named MAX!) I love flowers in my yard, they last much longer in the ground rather than in a vase! I enjoy watching hummingbirds and sitting on my porch with a cup of coffee and playing words with friends on my iPhone or scrolling through instagram photos. One of my favorite activities is riding my old Schwinn bike along the lake trails or my neighborhood. It is so calm and peaceful! I enjoy taking walks too. This winter I want to Snowshoe!
I have two beautiful daughters still at home, both attending our home town college and working as editors of the College newspaper, one is the managing editor the other photo editor. They both love post crossing too! We love to thrift store shop together for old post cards then we have fun dividing them all up, I must admit I get stuck with the ones that no one wants!! Sorry but you may receive one of those!! I recently got my granddaughter to start doing post crossings and also a dear friend from work, the more the merrier!
My oldest daughter is married and a stay at home mom with her 3 children. Lately she has been making jewelry and selling them in local stores, checkout her instagram @coyjewelry. She only lives 20 minutes away! So nice to have all my children so close.
I have recently become a widow and I have found this new hobby brings me joy! I'm not picky use any postcard or stamp you want, (maybe you found yours at a local thrift store too) I enjoy most reading your card and it would be fun to have some pen pals! Let me know:) I'm excited to start this new adventure in my quiet life, writing and receiving post cards from around the world!
Thank you for your cards, love to you, "penandpedals" (Now you know how I came up with my profile name.)
I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, Arrow, The Flash, Avengers, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, LOTR, Once Upon a Time, The Voice and all kinds of fun shows and movies!! If your from the UK please share a Sherlock card or two, and of course the Doctor.
Enjoy your day,
Cindy from Idaho, of the USA
and Happy Postcrossings!!!! <")
