My name is Petra and I am 33. I grew up in a little village with my mom, my two brothers and a bunch of cats. Now I live with my husband Honza and our little baby girl Julinka (born in February 2020) in Prague, Czech Republic.

The cornerstones of my life are spirituality, meditation, non-violence and inner growth. My biggest inspiration and guide has been the Argentinian writer, philosopher and thinker called Mario Rodriguez Cobos, also known as Silo. (One of my goals in life is to translate all of his works into Czech.)

I enjoy writing, translating, reading, studying, meditating, relaxing, hiking, swimming, spending time with friends and working with fire, ceramics or glass... I LOVE books - especially the contemporary European and world novels, it's one of my ways to discover how other nations and cultures feel, think, joke and live. I travel quite a lot, mainly to visit the Parks of Study and Reflection and little halls of Silo's Message around the world. So far, I've been to 19 countries (including Czechia). I like to meet new people and I really enjoy sending letters and postcards! :)

I like postcards of:

- nature (landscapes, mountains, trees, forests, sea, grass, water...)
- animals (PUFFINS, PORCUPINES, cats, tigers, hamsters, prairie dogs, koalas, wombats - and all the other cute ones...)
- historical cities
- universe

I prefer PHOTOS over drawings and paintings.

If you're not sure what to send, check out my favourites for inspiration. I am happy for each postcard I receive, but I am extra happy when you really try to follow my wishes ;).

The other side of the postcard is as important for me as the picture. The more you write, the better! :) Write whatever you like: something about yourself, what kind of books or movies you like, what makes you smile, what you like to do, what makes you feel inspiration and meaning, what you do to relax...

My dear friends from the UK or Ireland - if you could write something in Irish, Welsh, Cornish etc., I would be on cloud seven!
