About Paula...

Hello! My name is Paula, I recently joined postcrossing and I am super excited because I've always loved sending and receiving real mail :)

I enjoy traveling, music, cinema, art, photography, cooking and I simply cannot live without books - there's always at least one that I'm reading. And it is always wonderful to meet new friends and share some laughs, either in person or with the help of postcards!

I like surprises so I'll be happy about every card that you send (pretty stamps are appreciated as well). My favourites section is like a little wishlist - postcards I don't have but would love to receive so if you have any of these, I would be really happy to get one :) Below are some themes that I especially enjoy:

- Art. All kinds, from cute illustrations to famous works by painters from your country. Also religious art and pre-raphaelite paintings (especially by J.W.Waterhouse)
- Photography (e.g. Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon)
- Inspiring people (actors, musicians, writers, explorers etc.)
- Jetoy
- Moomin
- Takkoda Pets Rock postcards
- People reading, laughing, kissing, dancing, playing the piano or other instrument, looking through the window or in the mirror
- Tibetan Buddhism (Medicine Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha etc.)
- Shaped postcards
- Royal families
- Pin-up girls and Anne Taintor cards
- Coffee and cafes
- Lighthouses
- Northern Lights
- Books, reading, libraries and bookstores
- Birds and flowers
- Harry Potter

If you're not sure what to write, you can tell me about your day, your favorite things and places, favorite books, childhood memories or travel adventures - anything that would tell me something about you!Maybe there's some quote from a movie, book or elsewhere which is near and dear to you?I'm interested in all the information that you can squeeze in one postcard!
