Hello post-crossers!!!

My name is Sherry. I live in a small rural farming town in Ontario with my husband of 38 years and our very beautiful Golden Retriever named Hope Everlasting. (picture attached - Hope asleep with a bone in her mouth) We live very close to famous Niagara Falls and also there are many unique and wonderful wineries and vineyards in my area.

I am semi-retired, and in my spare time I am a dog-walker/house-sitter, which I totally love! I enjoy nature, dogs, being outdoors as much as possible, I am also a volunteer telephone line support worker for sexual assault victims in my area, for the past 10 years. I enjoy swimming,gardening, cooking, and cleaning when I am in one of those cleaning moods which I find is sometimes therapeutic. I love art, photography,and music of all kinds, reading and watching old movies. I love Bette Davis and Joan Crawford films. I am also a HUGE Downton Abbey fan!! My favorite Character is Violet.

I enjoy sending postcards just as much as I enjoy receiving them. I really try to send you something according to your likes/profile/dislikes.

I am interested in anything you want to tell me about yourself. Example: Tell me what your favorite word is; your favorite quote/motto; a fun trivia fact about your Country not written in travel guides; your favorite journey; favorite book/movie; favorite song; hobbies; recipe, what did you do today, what are you grateful for?

Here are some suggestions and not in order of what you can send, however I truly am pleased with whatever arrives in my happy mailbox!

* Mail boxes
* Old houses, castles, cathedrals
* Interesting architecture
* Vintage anything
* Inge old ladies
* horses, ponies
* flowers, small birds
* berries, fruit, mushrooms, vegetables, market pictures
* recipes from your country
* Artwork from your country
* Any of my favorites(as long as I was not the recipient - this means I both love it and have it:)

It takes time and energy to pick out the "right" postcard, write a note, stamp it and mail it. I enjoy receiving your positive energy on a postcard from wherever you are! Please know that you put a big smile on my face when I receive your postcard!!!!

**Just a thought, but if you could please put your username on
your postcard that you send me, so that I am able to read
your profile before I register the card and send a "thank you" note, it would be much appreciated. I would also be so very grateful if you could scan your card before sending so that when I receive it I will be able to add it as one of my favorites.
