About Lutz...

Hi everybody!

My name is Lutz, I'm 35 years old. At the moment I still life in the Thuringian university city Jena with 100.000 inhabitants. But soon I will move to an old farm house with a huge horticulture garden run by community-supported agriculture, situated in the tiny village Schmölln (Hummelshain).

At the moment I work as a child care worker in a forest kindergarden (for whom I also do the public relations), househusband, bon vivant and in many honorary posts. Before I worked as bike messenger, publisher's reader, journalist, cultural scientist, even as construction worker. I'm a father of 2 sweet, very agile children (aged 5 and 9). In my daily life I practise Simple Living.

Please send me a postcard with a motif to which you have any inner connection or closer relationship - and on the back you simply write me which one and why! Furthermore, I have only one wish: Please don't be boring! ;-)

For some inspiration you can have a look at my favorites gallery. I also appreciate fancy & well-done ad, free or handmade cards. If you really don't know what to write, describe - as frankly as possible - which thoughts and impressions fill your mind momentarily. You can talk to me in a plain language, there's no need to use diplomatic flowery phrases.

Experience has shown that my postcard taste deviates considerably from the PC mainstream. You should know that I don't overly like these standard touristic view cards with "ideal world" landscapes, cityviews, national dishes or costumes. I also can't do anything with florid postcards of „cute“ cats, dogs, toddlers, elves, flowers or anything comparable – brhh!! Please excuse my certain intolerance regarding all kitschy stuff.

By the way: I'm always very chuffed about nice, large and recent commemorative stamps! Of course I will also use those for you. Please don't send cards in envelopes. It's called post(CARD)crossing ... you should know it, dudes! ;)

Feel free to write me also – but then legible – in Italian, Dutch, Hungarian or even in Latin. I've sufficient reading skills in all these languages.
