NOTE: I put my return address on the cards I send in order to help keep them safe in mailing. It is not so that you will send me a card in return.
I live in suburban Dallas with my daughter, my husband, and my husband's mother, who is 98 years old and has dementia. My son and his wife live nearby. I retired recently and I am a breast cancer survivor. I love to travel, and have been to 44 of the 50 United States and to 10 countries so far. I like to walk, read, watch movies, quilt, and scrapbook. (I must admit, though, my quilting and scrapbooking have suffered since I started Postcrossing!) I love dogs, but I have not had much experience with cats. My avatar is my dog, Dobby.
The cards in my Favorites are cards I have not received.
All of my received cards (official and from the forums) are shown in my flickr page: https:/www.flickr.com/photos/18068602@N02/albums
I am not particularly interested in cards with famous people, unless the person is considered a founder of your country. Please don't send Anne Geddes babies or folded greeting cards. I prefer the postcard with no envelope.
Except for that, I am happy to receive any postcard that you choose for me. If you would like some ideas, here is a (long) list...
